Who We Are

Pure Sprouts Organic Delivery is owned and operated by me, Lori Stansberry, the the Pure Sprouts crew all located right here in the Lehigh Valley.  Our company story began in 2009 and we love watching it grow!

Choosing Pure Sprouts allows you to eat healthy and support your local farmers. This is so important for the health of you and your family, the Lehigh Valley, and our Earth. Oh and by the way, we deliver to your door- how easy is that?!

About the Owner:

Lori was born and raised in Northampton, PA.

In her words....
"I learned through my education that humans have a large and lasting impact on the Earth. I used to be scared of what I learned- I wondered what could I ever do to help? How could I make a difference? This is how Pure Sprouts was born. What better way to make a difference, then to help our farmers, help our community, and help our Earth?
I received a BS from Rider University in Marine Science and an MS from University of Maryland in Environmental Science. After school, I had various positions in cancer research as well as other diseases.  I have lived in many parts of the United States and had many cool experiences. I needed to do something great with my education and experiences- and that's Pure Sprouts! I am committed to increasing the market for local foods, reducing food miles, and promoting organic goods.
I am the mother of two beautiful children that remind me everyday how beautiful life is: Jackson and Allison. We are in the perfect business, since besides running, hiking, and exploring new areas of the globe- we love to eat!!"

Introducing the rest of Pure Sprouts Team!

June: A part-time Packer, Quality Control Specialist, Buyer, and Office manager for 3 years

Ray: Our main driver, inventory specialist, and warehouse manager.

Kerri: Our lovely driver, packer, marketing assistant. Kerri is well-rounded quickly learning all aspects of the business. I think she's secretly vying for the postion of  world leader. Shh.

Amy: Just like the rest of us, Amy fits right in as a jack-of-all-trades. I think once Amy incorporates the "Veggie veggie fruit fruit" song into our everyday life, she will take over as CEO! It's so wonderful to have such passionate people working for our business.

Lisa and Alex:  Our talented bloggers sharing recipes and tips for all those local goodies in season. Check out www.eatingthelocalbox.wordpress.com.

I am so lucky to work with such wonderful people. They, along with all of our farmers and customers,  make Pure Sprouts such a joy to own.
